My name is Domingo Ramos but most of my family and friends call me "Mingo". I am a longtime resident of the Rio Grande Valley. I was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas but my State Farm career has taken place in Harlingen, McAllen, and Rio Grande City over more than 27 years. I am proud to be able to help the members of our community protect what matters to them most.

In 1993, I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration-Management and a minor in Marketing. Before opening my first Domingo Ramos State Farm office in 2009, I spent 15 years working for another division of State Farm. I feel that experience has made me a better all-around agent as I am able to help customers understand and navigate through many insurance processes. In November 2015, I was fortunate enough to have been selected to open my second agency office in McAllen, Texas. I am proud to have several team members in both offices that have been with me from the start. The beauty of having multiple offices is that my customers can be served any way they like at any of our locations.

I have always been very passionate about building lasting relationships and helping customers with their insurance needs. I am a strong advocate for helping underserved markets understand how insurance works and providing a second to none customer experience. I am blessed because being a State Farm Insurance Agent has given me the opportunity to do what I love while helping others at the same time.
